I bought a copy of The Bare Bones of English History in Romsey Abbey at the weekend 

and have have read it from cover to cover!

I have never been motivated to write to an author before, but want to say how much I have 

enjoyed it. It has clarified so much for me, as it has no embellishment or waffle at all

to wade through.
